Digital to Plate – A laser powered plate making system produces direct-to-plate digital clarity without chemicals or film. The Rapid Fire uses laser etching, a technique where the laser beam traverses left and right, burning away horizontal lines of material as it moves down the material vertically. This is an ideal solution for shops that need many different plates. We supply three different polymer plates for use with the Rapid Fire with estimated lifespan of 10,000 to 100,000 impressions (depending on usage).

  • Full servo-control results in precise motion control, allowing for more precise etch shape and depth.
  • Variable speed, power, and raster settings allow for a variety of dot shapes.
  • Windows-based drivers offer plenty of functionality, including pitch tuning to adjust for a vertical profile for each character during plate engraving.
  • Network connection enables multiple laser engravers to be operated by one PC and multiple PCs to share a single unit of laser engraver.
  • Onboard memory buffer allows dozens of jobs to be stored, reducing changeover time.
