UV Flatbed Inkjet Printers jet ink that upon exposure to ultraviolet light instantly forms polymer bonds. The ink itself consists of four components: monomers, oligomers, pigments, and photoinitiators. Essentially, the monomers and oligomers provide the medium for the color, which is provided by the pigment. Photoinitiators react to exposure to UV radiation and cause the monomers to instantly form polymer bonds, “curing” the ink. All of our industrial inkjet printers employ UV-curable inks due to their durability, resistance to fading, scratch-resistance, and lack of volatile out-gassing.
